1. The Core Philosophy: Data Sovereignty
POLS (Private Offline Lift Specialist) is built as a local-first application. Unlike traditional fitness apps, we do not use a backend, we do not require accounts, and we do not store your fitness data on our servers. Your data belongs to you, exists only on your device, and stays under your absolute control.
2. Information Collection and Use
Because POLS is a "Zero-Cloud" utility, the Service Provider (Malachi Nelson) does not collect, see, or sell your workout history, body measurements, or personal records.
- Workout Data: 100% of your routines and logs are stored locally via device-encrypted storage (Capacitor Preferences).
- Personally Identifiable Information (PII): The Application does not require an email, name, or phone number to function.
- Automatic Collection: Like all mobile apps, basic technical data (device model, OS version) may be collected by the App Stores (Apple/Google) for crash reporting and installation analytics.
3. Third-Party Services
To facilitate the one-time "Plus Tier" purchase and app stability, we utilise the following third-party providers who have their own privacy policies:
- RevenueCat: Used solely to manage your "Plus" entitlement and verify your purchase across your own devices.
- Google Play Services / Apple App Store: For payment processing and basic, anonymised performance telemetry.
4. Data Retention & Deletion
We cannot delete your data because we do not have it.
- User Control: To delete all your data, simply uninstall the Application or use the "Clear All Data" function within the App Settings.
- Manual Backups: If you use the Manual JSON Export feature, you are responsible for the security of that file. We recommend storing it in your own private, encrypted cloud storage.
